Support in obtaining certification of radio equipment for the US
We provide FCC certification testing service of radio equipment and information technology equipment for the US.
Our 10m anechoic chamber is a FCC registered site (Accredited/ No. JP0022); therefore, it can be used for the testing of FCC Part 15 for the declaration of conformity (DoC).
Additionally, it is also possible to obtain radio equipment certification in partnership with TCB. Please do not hesitate to inquire.
We have the following three processes for FCC equipment certification, and TCB can do the approval and certification for all three.
- This applies to almost all transmitters and scanning receivers
- Most of Part 15 receivers, computers and peripheral equipment, and Part 18 information appliances
- Equipment other than computers utilized based on FCC Part 15, and equipment other than information appliances utilized based on FCC Part 18
Obtaining TCB application and certification
TELEC provides assistance with application service for Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB) certification via the TCB, who directly issue FCC certification. Usually certification of radios and communications terminal equipment is applied for directly to FCC, but TCB application is possible through our centers.
We offer comprehensive one-stop support ranging from measurement of your company’s products based on FCC regulations to issuing of FCC certification. Testing is conducted at our partner TCB.
About TCB(Telecommunication Certification Body)
TCB is a FCC recognized laboratory, which can issue FCC certification on behalf of FCC. The TCB Council acts as a forum for discussion for TCB and FCC. The aim of the TCB Council is to set up forums for regular discussion between FCC and TCB and promote continuous activities for the improvement of TCB’s techniques and operations.
